Saint Monica’s School procedures for the bushfire season

Whilst at Saint Monica's the Staff will do their utmost to ensure the safety of your child

St Monica's School Uniform Shop is open:
Tuesday mornings from 8.45am to 9.15am
Thursday afternoon from 3.15pm to 3.45pm.

The store is onsite, however it is small and has limited new and used stock on hand.
You are welcome to come along during our open times to purchase items however we cannot guarantee availability. 
To help us order sufficent stock we have 2 major ordering times each year:
Summer Uniform Orders - by week 5, Term 3.
Winter Uniform Orders -
by week 5, Term 1.

If you require additional items throughout the year it is prefered that you order and pay through CDF Pay and items will be packed and sent home with student if they are in stock or ordered in as required.

Summer

Grey Shorts (not cargo style), grey socks
Blue polo shirt (contrast collar)
Blue check school dress, light blue socks
Black school shoes

Winter

Grey Pants (not cargo style), grey socks with blue polo shirt (contrast collar)
Bomber jacket
Pleated pinafore/skirt or navy school pants with light blue polo shirt and 
Navy tights or socks
Black school shoes

Sport Uniform

Royal blue school trackpants or Navy sport shorts
Light blue polo shirt
White sport socks
Sport shoes

Other required Items: 

Hat
Library Bag 
Art Smock 

Grade 6 Shirt 

In Year 6 students are able to purchase a Year 6 polo shirt with school logo, Year 6 teachers and student names on the back.
This is only to be worn with their sports uniform.

 

Accessories

Jewellery is not permitted as part of the school uniform. Hair should be tied back with ties in school colours. For safety reasons, flat metal hair slides should be worn in preference to plastic combs. Nail polish must not be worn to school. 

Lost Property

Please make sure all your child’s property is clearly marked with his/her name, especially school jumpers. All unnamed property is stored in a lost property box for parents and children to recover. Lost property is stored at school for a term only. At the end of the year unclaimed items will be sold through the uniform shop.

Our school employs a Pastoral Wellbeing Worker.

At St. Monica's we invite parents and guardians to participate in the life of the school.  Some of the opportunities for involvement are:

The School Advisory Council is made up of a group of parents, the Principal, Parish Priest and members of the staff. Meetings are held regularly during the year.
